ZoneFirst HVAC Zoning Systems opens in Randolph Ma.

After continual success over the years, ZoneFirst made the move to a larger facility to accommodate for the higher demand of HVAC zoning products. Trolex Corporation ZoneFirst, was the first company to manufacture, market and sell HVAC zoning in the early 1960s in Hartford, Connecticut, and continues to introduce products that make zoning easier to install. Success led to the eventual transition to a new facility in Elmwood Park, New Jersey in 1988.

In 2004, Trolex Corporation reentered the HVAC industry under the trade name Zone-A-Trol and then eventually ZoneFirst. This was to signify the company’s being first in the HVAC Zoning market. Over the course of the following decade, ZoneFirst experienced sales and growth despite a now-saturated market with 12 other competitors. It was that growth that ultimately led to ZoneFirst’s transition to its newest headquarters in Randolph: nearly twice the size of the previous facility.
