ABCO Opens Bigger, Better State-of-the-art Hauppauge Store.

ABCO HVACR Supply + Solutions opened their new 24,000-square-foot Hauppauge store — which is more than three-and-a-half times its predecessor’s size — on July 11, 2013. The new super center is sure to help HVACR professionals grow their respective businesses through increased inventory and enhanced education.

ABCO HVACR Supply + Solutions, the nation’s largest independent distributor of HVAC and refrigeration products and solutions, with 17 stores in the U.S. Northeast and mid-Atlantic regions, opened their new super center in Long Island’s Suffolk County this past July 11th. Their new super center located at 10 Central Avenue in Hauppauge, across from its prior store, is a 24,000-square-foot facility, which is more than three-and-a-half times its predecessor’s size.

"The Grand Opening was a huge success," states ABCO’s Bob Cesiro. "We built this new, much larger center because the Long Island area is one of the country’s most active and competitive markets for HVAC and refrigeration, and this is our way of demonstrating our dedication to the vitality of this market." Twenty-five manufacturer and vendor reps were on hand to speak with the over 275 people who attended the event. Everyone was also treated to a free barbecue and numerous raffles were awarded. Cesiro continues, "It was a great day, and a great way for HVACR professionals to see how our new super center can help their respective businesses."

The new center features a large 30-foot counter for improved customer service, as well as a dedicated ‘Will Call’ area. The expanded ‘Self-Pick” showroom allows customers to not only see more brands, but more models from each brand, too.

"To support this expanded selection, we plan on having over $2 million in inventory at the center at all times to meet our customers’ needs," Cesiro adds. "And Hauppauge now features the largest ‘ABCO University’ we’ve ever built — the only one of its kind on Long Island — with leading-edge facilities for design, repair, and installation training.
