The Montgomery County Department of Parks Facilities Management Division is the largest trade operation in the Parks Department. We provide high quality maintenance and support services for all the parks and recreation facilities within Montgomery County. We have five major work areas: Fleet Management, Buildings & Structures (Trade Shops), Horticulture & Forestry (Roads & Grounds), Major Maintenance & Inspection and the Administrative section.

The Department of Parks, Facilities Management Division HVAC Shop unit is seeking a highly skilled Senior HVACR Mechanic. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance and service of various heating/air condition systems and ventilation/refrigeration equipment in all facilities (i.e., commercial buildings, stadiums, ice rinks, recreation centers, etc.) throughout Montgomery County Commission. Successful candidate may guide activities of Trades Trainees and Park/General Maintenance workers who support skilled trades workers. Work is checked by Inspectors, Trade Shop Supervisors and Leads. Performs other related duties as assigned.
